In our previous articles, we explored stock tokens, trading pairs, and building a simple crypto tool with AI. Now those ideas come together in another experiment: creating a token for your own project.
vibe/vibe is developing a launchpad on Robinhood Chain. A launchpad is a website that handles much of the technical work of creating a token. Its current public site runs on testnet—a practice version of the network—so you can explore how launching and trading work using test assets.
For someone who has only bought other people’s tokens, it offers a chance to see the process from the creator’s side.
What could you create?
Imagine you used AI to build the crypto watchlist from our last article. You could experiment with a token connected to that project, perhaps to explore how a community might form around it. Creating the token would not automatically give it a purpose or connect it to your app. You would still need to explain what it does and build any promised features.
vibe/vibe’s creation form asks for familiar things: a name, a short trading symbol, and an image. You can also add a description and links to your website or social accounts. The platform supplies the launch mechanism, so you do not have to write a token contract from scratch. vibe/vibe’s creation page
That lowers the technical barrier. Finding a useful idea and giving people a reason to care remain the creator’s job.
Where do stock pairs fit in?
vibe/vibe’s documentation describes a newer launch format called V6. It allows a token to be paired with ETH, a test stock token, or another qualifying vibe/vibe token. The chosen pair is fixed when the token is created. The documented trading process handles conversion into the paired asset, while users pay and receive ETH. vibe/vibe documentation
Think of the pair as the asset your token trades against. A stock-token pair would connect your token’s market with a stock-linked asset, bringing the idea from our earlier articles into the launch process.
It would not turn your token into company shares or make it stock-backed. Your project would remain separate from the company represented by the stock token. On testnet, the stock tokens are practice assets, too.
There is also a practical limitation today: although V6 stock pairing is documented, its linked launch page returned an error during this review. The standard creation page was accessible, but readers should check the current interface before expecting every documented option to work.
Why try a testnet?
A testnet is useful for learning what happens after you press “Launch.” You can explore token creation, test purchases and sales, and see how the platform’s rules affect trading. vibe/vibe also describes “graduation”: the point when a token completes its initial selling stage and moves into a trading pool.
The site’s setup guide directs users to a faucet—a service that supplies test ETH for practice transactions. Test ETH has no monetary value. Dollar figures or profits displayed during testing should not be confused with money you can withdraw. vibe/vibe’s documentation and setup guide
For a beginner, a worthwhile first session could simply be creating a clearly labelled experiment and noting anything confusing. Reporting a broken button or unclear explanation helps the team understand what needs improving.
And what about airdrops?
An airdrop is a distribution of tokens to selected wallets, sometimes used to reward early participation. vibe/vibe’s Season 0 page tracks activity for builders and traders and discusses possible future rewards.
However, the same page says those rewards are decided separately by the operator and reviewed for artificial activity, such as trading with yourself or using multiple accounts to inflate participation. A leaderboard position is not a token balance or a guaranteed payout. vibe/vibe’s Season 0 terms
Participation may therefore offer a chance of future token rewards, but the amount, eligibility, timing, and eventual value should not be assumed. Treat the opportunity to learn as something available now, and any airdrop as a possible extra.
Who is behind it?
vibe/vibe’s team page identifies its founder as Levent Cem Aydan, known online as Meta Alchemist, and links directly to his GitHub account. His launchpad background predates this project: a CertiK interview from July 2021 identifies him as Seedify’s founder and discusses its funding and launchpad work. vibe/vibe’s team page, CertiK’s 2021 interview
There is also public development work to examine. His repositories include Vibeship Scanner, designed to find software security problems, and a Dexscreener tool for accessing crypto-market information. These provide concrete examples of his work across AI-assisted development and crypto. Vibeship Scanner, Dexscreener tool
That background is relevant, but it does not guarantee a new platform’s security. During this review, vibe/vibe’s documentation did not provide an independent audit report.
If you are curious, start at the official site, read the current instructions, and use a separate testing wallet. Never enter a recovery phrase into a website or buy test ETH. Building on Robinhood Chain also does not mean your token is endorsed by Robinhood or listed in its brokerage app.
A small experiment can teach you what a token launch involves—and help you decide whether a token would actually add something to the project you want to build.
